Research Center for Structural Materials (RCSM) aims to be a “basic research institute for industry”!
RCSM aims to become a "basic research institute for industry" that provide platform coordination functions and contributes to solving diverse problems. We open up the cutting-edge equipment and actively promote knowledge and human exchange. In addition to participating in research, we also serve as coordinators, helping to strengthen the competitiveness of companies by discerning industry-academia collaborations, making recommendations to the government, and collaborating with financial institutions. Through consortium-type initiatives involving multiple companies and universities, we will develop technologies that are useful for traditional collaboration between individual companies. The former is referred to as the "1st floor" and the latter as the "2nd floor" and is called a two-story structure.
