Dr. Kotaro Doi received the Grand Prize of Cross-disciplinary Innovation Award for Infrastructure and Sciences at the SAT (Science Academy of Tsukuba) Technology Showcase 2025 Poster Presentation for best research results integrating infrastructure and different fields.
The subject of the award was “Hyperbaric-oxygen Accelerated Reaction Technology for Solving Problems of Steel Corrosion in Concrete".
This award was given in recognition of the development of "Hyperbaric-oxygen Accelerated Reaction Technology," which promotes the oxygen reduction reaction, as well as achievements in elucidating the corrosion mechanism of steel in concrete and developing new surface treatment methods and materials using this technology.
