Elucidation of Deformation and Fracture Mechanisms of Austenitic Stainless Steels under Cryogenic and High-Pressure Hydrogen Environments
For the utilization of liquid hydrogen, components must be composed of materials that are compatible with low-temperature and hydrogen-rich environments. The present study explores the deformation and fracture mechanisms specific to these environments by means of neutron diffraction analyses and microscopy.
